CMS/AIG has now developed lines of true 2 to 4 layer parented graphene bases surgical and industrial masks. These self – cleaning graphene coated masks are superior to other masks offered in the industry due to the graphene ability to absorb 95% of light across the spectrum while killing and deactivating most types of viruses and bacteria with a BFE 99.9% using one layer of patented graphene material. These CMS masks are super hydrophobic strongly repelling aqueous liquids and capturing micron dust, thus allowing the masks to be reused. The turnkey automatic mask production line is now available to the buyers worldwide to specially manufacture graphene facemasks via CMS turnkey mask production line equipment system. The graphene melt-blown non-woven fabric is a new material with super filtration, adsorption and bacteriostasis. It is mixed Polypropylene with Graphene Powder. The new technology of the graphene is capable of dust collection to PM 2.5 and absorb Dioxide (CO2), Formaldehyde (HCHO) and Toluene (C6H5CH3) in addition to 99.9% of super filtration, adsorption, antiviral and bacteriostasis. It is also a nontoxic and environmental friendly material. It has a strong electrostatic discharge characteristic. This graphene fabric can be used in KF/KN industrial and surgical masks.
Commonly used surgical masks and industrial masks are not anti-bacterial or antiviral and may lead to the risk of secondary transmission of bacterial or viral infection when people touch the contaminated surfaces of the used masks or discard them improperly.


Water droplets roll off

Since the graphene is super-hydrophobic, it is self-cleaning, like a lotus leaf. Indeed, water droplets freely roll off the surface of the mask before they have time to adhere to it. Another benefit, the researchers say, is that you can kill most virus and bacteria on graphene-coated masks simply by exposing them to sunlight for 40–100 seconds. This is possible because graphene absorbs more than 95% of light across the solar spectrum from 300–2500 nm, so the coated masks quickly increase in temperature, reaching 40°C after 40 seconds of solar illumination and more than 50°C after 100 seconds. That is high enough to inactivate most types of viruses, meaning that the mask can then be reused or (if damaged) safely recycled. In contrast, masks without a patented graphene coating do not show this photothermal effect, since they absorb sunlight only weakly. Even after 5 minutes of solar illumination, their temperature does not exceed 30°C.

The science: Graphene possesses powerful antiviral properties; studies show mono-layered sheets of graphene oxide which are very sharp-edged at the nano-layer physically sheer the lipid coating over the RNA strands of the viruses encapsulated  within before they can enter the body, rendering them harmless. Negative electrostatic charges administered to the graphene oxide increases the material's effectiveness at drawing viruses toward the sharpened edges. What this means: This graphene filter uses science-backed technology to provide an extra layer of protection against viruses keeping you and your loved ones healthy and safe.
